Baritone Singer & Vocalist 吴春侃

I am a baritone singer and vocal educator, dedicated to researching and teaching the art of singing and the science of vocal production. I was honored as the "Pearl of China" by the German newspaper Fränkische Landeszeitung and have recorded and released solo albums with German and Chinese record labels. After studying at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Geneva Conservatory of Music, I realized that music is an inseparable part of my life.

Throughout my career, I have explored various paths, including a ten-year stint in the banking industry early on. During that time, I was an amateur singer purely passionate about singing. The banking experience gave me valuable insights into the financial field and management, and my colleagues' support was crucial in my decision to pursue a professional singing career.

I worked at the Zhejiang Provincial Song and Dance Troupe in China and the Lausanne Opera House in Switzerland as a professional singer. Upon returning to China, I worked as the Executive Vice President of the Music and Dance College at Beijing Geely University's China Song and Dance Troupe and the Assistant Director of the Shanghai Light Music Troupe. My focus was on the daily management of the school and the orchestra, while still maintaining my professional performance and teaching commitments. That was an unforgettable period.

Stage performances have always been an important part of my career. From the shores of West Lake in Hangzhou to Beilun Port, from Beijing to Xi'an, and from Gifu in Japan to singing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Zhejiang, my voice has resonated across continents. Whether it was leading the choir at Geneva Cathedral, delivering a flawless performance at the Munich New Year's Concert, or honing my skills in Mozart's Oratorio in Rothenburg, music has been my constant companion.

As time goes by and with the maturing of my inner self, I’ve decided to focus on vocal educating and nurturing new talents.
